Earth, 3022 AD. Humanity stands on the brink of open war with the Gray Alliance, an ancient alien empire fighting for control of NiFe - a rare meta-material that powers super-weapons, fuels entire civilizations and decides who holds power in the galaxy.

At the center of the conflict is Melcrose, a young fighter who carries an ability that the god-like Emperor Temeluchus has been seeking since the beginning of time. When the Grays attack her family in Neo Tokyo, Melcrose and her younger brother Kaelen are forced to flee - armed only with her father's sword and her cipher companion LUMINA.

This is the explosive opening chapter of the NiFe WARS saga. A war that will decide the fate of the universe begins here.
