How Hold Boxes Work

Request it when you’re ready.

Combine eligible orders into one shipment. When you’re ready, submit a shipment request and we’ll review your held books, merge the orders, and confirm any postage due.

Your shipment request starts a review. It does not mean your comics have shipped.

How your Hold Box works

  1. Choose Hold Box

    Select Hold Box at checkout where it is offered for eligible orders. Those books stay with us instead of shipping immediately.

  2. Keep building your box

    Add eligible orders over time. When you’re ready for a shipment, submit one Ship My Hold Box request using the same email address as your held orders.

  3. We review, merge and pack

    We check which books are ready to ship, review any postage already paid, and prepare the combined shipment. Books that are not ready stay on hold.

  4. Review your updated invoice

    Any shipping balance is based on the appropriate tier for the packed shipment. If postage is due, pay the updated invoice before dispatch. Eligible free-shipping boxes do not need a postage payment.

The $0 request item tells us you’re ready for a shipment. It does not include comics or prepaid shipping, and it does not itself qualify your box for free postage.

Eligible $150+ boxes ship free

Our existing $150 free U.S. Hold Box shipping threshold remains in place. We verify eligibility when reviewing your request, before preparing the final invoice.

One invoice after review

A small package is not charged a large-box rate. We check the packed shipment and existing shipping charges before confirming any shipping balance.

Help us match your orders: submit the request on its own, use the same email as your held orders, and add original order numbers to the cart’s order special instructions when available. Please send one request per shipment.

Address changes or special instructions: contact us before paying your shipping invoice. Canada and international shipments follow the applicable shipping policy; the U.S. free-shipping threshold does not apply.
