What we are looking for

Books collectors actively want.

We are selective. The strongest candidates generally fall into one or more of these categories.

01

Key Issues

First appearances, major story events, and other recognized keys.

02

Low Print Runs

Scarce covers, limited variants, and genuinely difficult-to-find books.

03

Signed Books

Authenticated or documented signatures, preferably with a COA.

04

Graded Comics

CGC- or CBCS-graded books with established collector interest.

05

High-Demand Items

Comics or collectibles with consistent demand and meaningful resale value.

The review process

Help us evaluate your collection quickly.

1

Make a list

Include titles, issue numbers, quantities, grades, and any notable details.

2

Take clear photos

Show fronts, backs, major defects, slab labels, signatures, and certificates.

3

Name your price

Tell us your desired asking price for individual items or the full collection.

4

Send everything

Email the list and photos. We will review the submission and respond if interested.

Better information means a better review

What to include in your first email.

For raw comics

Photograph the actual books being offered—not catalog images.

  • Full front and back cover photos
  • Close-ups of spine wear, creases, stains, or damage
  • Title, issue number, cover, and approximate condition
  • Signature details and COA photos when applicable

For slabs and collectibles

Make identifying and evaluating each item as straightforward as possible.

  • Clear photo of the entire item
  • Readable grading label and grade
  • Photos of case damage, box wear, or missing pieces
  • Your asking price and whether items must sell together
Retail value and a dealer purchase offer are not the same.

Offers account for condition, demand, resale time, selling fees, storage, and the risk involved in purchasing inventory. A high online listing price does not necessarily represent an item’s current cash value.

Do not ship anything until we have responded.

Sellers are responsible for safely packing, insuring, and shipping their items. 412 Comics cannot accept responsibility for damage that occurs in transit, but we are happy to provide packing guidance before you send a collection.
