At 412 Comics, we take shipping seriously. All orders are packed with collector care and shipped securely to protect your books.
U.S. SHIPPING RATES (COMICS)
Shipping is calculated by order weight, which closely reflects the number of comics in your order:
U.S. Shipping (Weight-Based)
- Standard Shipping – Light Order (Up to 0.35 lb) — $4.99
- Standard Shipping – Small Order (0.36–1 lb) — $5.99
- Standard Shipping – Medium Order (1.01–2 lb) — $7.99
- Standard Shipping – Large Order (2.01–4 lb) — $9.99
- Standard Shipping – Heavy Order / Box (4 lb+) — $13.99
Rates apply to raw comics shipped in protective Gemini-style packaging or equivalent rigid protection.
🚚 FREE SHIPPING — ORDERS $75+
- Free U.S. shipping on orders of $75 or more
- Applies only to eligible items at the time of purchase
- Excludes exclusives, games, oversized items, and special packaging exceptions
- Free shipping applies only to orders placed after the policy update 1/1/26 (not retroactive)
📦 HOLD BOX OPTION
We offer a Hold Box option for customers who want to combine multiple orders into one shipment.

- Items are held securely until you’re ready to ship

Ship Hold Box (Final Shipment – Multi-Item): $14.99
- Covers the final combined shipment of all held items
- Hold Box shipments are FREE once your total held items reach $150.
👉 If you select Hold Box, your items will not ship until you choose the final shipping option.

📦 PACKAGING STANDARDS
Raw Comics
- Shipped bagged & boarded
- Packed in Gemini mailers or equivalent rigid protection
Larger / Heavy Orders
- Bubble-wrapped and securely boxed
- Reinforced to prevent corner or spine damage
We do not cut corners on packaging — damage prevention comes first.
📍 MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
Some orders (especially mixed preorders, exclusives, or hold box releases) may ship in multiple packages.
If this happens, separate tracking numbers will be provided.
⏰ PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIMES
- In-stock items typically ship within 1–5 business days
- Preorders ship once inventory is received
- Hold Box orders ship only when “Ship Hold Box” is selected

- Shipping costs are non-refundable once a label is purchased
- Customers are responsible for selecting the correct shipping option
- Orders with incorrect shipping selections may be delayed while we contact you
🌍 CANADA & INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Shipping outside the United States is offered at a flat rate due to variable carrier costs, customs fees, and package dimensions.

Flat-rate shipping: $26.00
International
Flat-rate shipping: $30.00
We also offer a Hold Box option for Canada and International customers:
