Every raw comic is protected before it leaves our hands.
Rigid Comic Protection
Raw books ship in Gemini-style mailers or equivalent protection.
Tracking Provided
Tracking is supplied for shipped packages when available from the carrier.
How rates are determined
Shipping is based on the actual order.
A single comic, a slab, and a large mixed order require different packaging. Checkout accounts for the factors that apply to your cart.
Delivery location
Available carriers and rates vary by destination, region, and country.
Item and fulfillment type
Preorders, partner-fulfilled products, and special packaging may produce different options.
Free shipping may occasionally be available.
Free shipping is not a standing benefit for standard orders. When available—such as an eligible Hold Box release or limited promotion—it will be shown or applied according to the current offer terms. Offers are not retroactive.
Shipping methods
Different orders need different protection.
Standard comic shipping
Designed for bagged-and-boarded raw comics using rigid comic mailers or equivalent protective packaging.
Boxed shipping
Larger comic orders, books, collectibles, or mixed carts may require a reinforced shipping box and additional protection.
Ships from another location
Certain products ship directly from a partner and may use different rates, packaging, processing times, or tracking.
Hold Box
Combine eligible orders before shipping.
Hold Box lets you keep qualifying orders at 412 Comics and release them together later. This can reduce the number of separate packages you receive.
Current final-shipment pricing and any available free Hold Box shipping eligibility are determined when you choose to release the box.

We hold eligible items
Your books remain at 412 Comics while additional eligible orders accumulate.
Release the box
Select the Ship My Hold Box option when you are ready for the final shipment.

Available weekly, biweekly, or monthly options and their current costs are displayed through the subscription system or checkout.

Available books are prepared on the selected weekly schedule.

Available subscription books are grouped into a less frequent shipment.

Available subscription books are held for the selected monthly schedule.
Packaging standards
Damage prevention comes first.
Raw comics
- Bagged and boarded before shipment
- Rigid comic mailer or equivalent protection
- Packed to reduce movement, bends, and corner damage
Slabs and larger orders
- Bubble wrap or appropriate protective cushioning
- Securely boxed based on size and weight
- Reinforced when needed to protect cases, corners, and contents
Processing and delivery
When your order ships.
Prepared after purchase
Most in-stock orders are packed and transferred to the carrier within several business days.
Ships after arrival
Preorder timing begins after the product is released and received from the distributor.
Separate tracking may apply
Mixed, partner-fulfilled, preorder, or released Hold Box orders may ship in more than one package.
Shipping charges become non-refundable after a label is purchased.
Select the correct option at checkout. An incompatible selection can delay an order while we contact you or arrange the appropriate shipment.
Canada and international orders
Current options appear at checkout.
International availability and pricing depend on destination, package size, carrier service, and the products in the cart. If checkout does not offer a shipping option to your destination, contact us before placing the order.
Customers are responsible for applicable customs fees, duties, brokerage charges,
and import taxes. 412 Comics is not responsible for delays caused by customs or
destination-country processing.
